Do you remember your very first home? That first time when you took the plunge, and made a down payment? Were given your house keys? I remember it, in 1978. The small one story spot had 3 little bedrooms, one bath, and a generous back yard. We thought we were rich, having such a place to Be.
And now two very happy young people are about to reach out their hands, and grasp their own keys. House keys. The first real house, belonging to them (and, well, the Bank. But whatever.)

Congratulations!
What fun you will have; what friends you will make! what bills you will pay! Oh oops, I didn't mean to bring that up. Sorry! Now is not the time to anticipate funds and expenditures. Now is the time to open boxes, set up shop, spend your first night dreaming of what you will do first. Have fun with it.
We all rejoice with you and can't wait to spend some good times in that darling place. Let's have an apple pie bake-off! Let's look up fun Midcentury Modern ideas! And most of all, let's gather and pray for God's blessings upon your family and this new home.
For He is the One we thank, here. And we all acknowledge Christ's concern for our smallest details as we walk this earth. Thank you, Lord!
"Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain."
Psalm 127:1
That is what it means to be truly rich.
See you along the Way!
